More pictures from the Holiday weekend, ok these were all taken yesterday...

First one is Carters first ride on the four-wheeler, I asked Jeff if he liked it and Jeff's reply was I think so.
Picture two is Jeff and his dad playing bean bag, anyone else out there have this backyard game??? Not really sure if it's a new thing or an old thing made "trendy" again. I do know one thing the Johnston family is way competitive, but in a good way, most of the time. They love to do game stuff. When Jeff and I first started dating, 15 yrs ago, YIKES! We were all still young enough that volleyball was the thing. all the kids and the significant others would meet at the Johnston's for volleyball, beer, and bonfires almost every weekend. Those were the days... But I love the picture, can you say like father like son! Hillarious!
Picture three is Linds with cousin Brittany petting one of Brittany's horses,
And picture four is the races! Kaleb likes to race daddy, it was K's day to win. He got the best of three from Jeff. He loves that four-wheeler. I practically had to threaten him just to get a short ride on it.

We had a fabulous weekend, hope everyone else did too! These pictures are from Saturday, we finally got around to a visit with Aunt Judy. It has been way to long, but sometimes life just gets in the way. Linds, Carter and I headed off to Hartland for the day (the big boys did archery stuff), we had a wonderful lunch and beautiful time just lounging and gossiping outside. Mike even took Linds and Austin (that would be the adorable guy in the blue hat) to the park while us girls and Carter chatted. Then after Carter had, had enough outside time, he is so silly he likes being outside but he will not crawl in the grass, so after a while he gets fussy cuz he really wants to move around. Anyway we took it inside and got to gossip more while Mike took Linds to the amazingly renovated rec room and let her go crazy with his drum.

Thanks for the hospitality Jud-a-bee (only I can call her that), we love you so much! In a perfect world we would be neighbors...

So is it wrong to eat shrimp cocktail for breakfast??? Ok so I am in a strange mood this morning, maybe lack of sleep... but anyway I am a seafood freak, love it! And this morning shrimp just seemed like the thing to eat.

It's been crazy this week, Monday has been the most quiet day and everyone knows what Mondays are like. Tuesday we had an extra baby. She is just a couple months younger than Carter and he was just intrigued by this little person. They got along quite well and their schedules messed perfect. The only tears I had all day were from Carter who was a little upset that Mommy was feeding someone else first. Yesterday we had parents day at Linds' dance class. Not sure if I had my camera set wrong or the fact that I was trying to take pictures and hold Carter that most of the shots came out blurry??? I think that I may be able to make a couple scrap worthy.

Today is an exciting day, a friend of mine had a baby this morning! Congrats to Mary and the new little one, hoping that I can stop and see them later tonight. She has been waiting as best as she could since the beginning of the month when she went in to be induced and they sent her home 48 hrs later without a baby. Not fun!

And tomorrow it's off to the LSS to work, I think we are getting into a schedule with working fridays. I bring baby carter with me and he just plays in the playpen all day. Last week when I was there I even got some work done, 4 double page spreads for a customer. We'll see what I can accomplish tomorrow. I do feel a little bad, I have had something going on each Friday I've worked so far and have been sneaking out. The boss knows so it's not like it's that bad, I just feel bad about it. And of course tomorrow Linds' class is going to the High School for their "Ag" fair. I've gone with Kaleb's class so Linds' wants me to go with her too. It is always fun, but again I have to sneak away from the store for an hour or so.

We've gone mobile!

Nothing is safe, especially the phone books that were on a low shelf in my kitchen. They are already missing a few pages from the back. It always amazes me what little people will go for. Carter seems to love the legos, goes right to the bucket and dumps it over. Then of course there is the shelf of kids books that Carter has pulled down on himself three times already, you'd think he'd learn...
Anyway the weather is fabulous today and as much as I would like to just waste the day away walking the town, I feel like scrappin. Got a great idea from Tallyscrapper and I really want to get working on it. Nothing else exciting has been happening this week, that is a really good thing. Tomorrow will be a little crazy, I am working and then Jeff is taking off for the weekend, big archery tournament in Indiana. Every year he hits this shoot and every year something happens and he comes just short of winning it all. Maybe this will be his year...
Kaleb is excited because he is going turkey hunting with grandpa on Saturday. I am not sure if he is more excited about the hunting or not having to go shopping with mommy and nana. It's probably the hunting.

Well another week is coming to a close and what a week it was!

We made it though the first of many "big" school projects. In first grade they have all the kids do reports on an endangered/threatened animal. Kaleb choose the grey wolf. And again being the freak that I am I went a little over board on helping. We were lucky to find tons of fabulous pictures and info on the net. Kaleb was hillarious when it finally came time to write the report. I was typing away while talking about what we were going to say and K keeps on telling me, "Mom after this sentence we can be done," to that I reply, "but we haven't explained this picture yet." We ended up with a full page of info for K to read to his class. He was so excited for his turn, he practiced three times the night before and twice the morning of. His teacher said he did a great job and that he really enjoyed this project. YEAH! I am so proud of him.

Friday I got my mojo back after being at the LSS all day. Cranked out three cards and then went to scrap night and put together a great spread for Carter's book, plus I have lots of ideas floating in my head.

Today we went back into Archivers for more make/take's. Created some really cute gifts for the mom's in our life. Can wait to see if they like them...

Right now I am avoiding cleaning up a huge mess, had to finish some projects when we got home and there are scraps and glitter everywhere. But hey the blog had to be updated, right??? I really would like to scrap one more page tonight, but again that means I really need to clean up the mess...

Better clean, all you moms out there have a beautiful day tomorrow!

Happy May!

Wow it really seems like it was just February, where are the days going???

So this last week was a good one, the weather was perfect. We walked home from school all week! That so gives my attitude a lift. Think we get to walk today too!

So Saturday was National Scrapbook Day, not really sure if that is a big deal or not. I ventured into Archiver's early Saturday morning with Janell and we did all the make/takes. Carter got to tag along with us too. He was pretty good. Got a little fussy during the second project, so I have some finish up work to do on that one. I have decided that I am totally addicted to chipboard. I see it and I need it! Picked up some swirls, flowers and letter chipboard. Only problem was that I didn't seem to have any ambition to scrap when I got home with my new goodies, infact they are still in the bag. Oh well this friday is our scrap group, that gives me the week to prepare and pick out the perfect LO for my new chipboard.

We also headed over to M's to check out the new Martha Stewart line. That was rather ho, hum. Nothing really new or exciting about it and rather pricey. They did have a really cute birthday party kit. Now that could make things a little eaiser for me this summer, that may be a future purchase.

This week Kaleb and I are working on a Gray Wolf report for school. Kaleb is to give his report on Thursday. We have found tons of really great photos on the internet and tonight we need to start putting them on posterboard and making his notes. He seems kinda excited about the whole thing so that is encouraging. Now to see if they will let me come and take pictures while he reports... us scrappers can take things a little overboard I know.

Very excited because starting this week I will be working Fridays at the LSS! Love that! It keeps me motivated and happy.

All is quiet...

for now at least everyone (kids I mean) is fast asleep and I have a little time to myself. I have been planning in my head for the last three days what I wanted to say for an update here and I figured I had better get it out.

We had a wonderful week, extra busy but good. I've got some new little ones for daycare so that is where the extra busy comes in. It worked out good last week, I had an extra body Monday, then different extra bodies Tuesday and Thursday. Then Friday it was just me and Carter. I decided that I needed some shopping time!

Carter and I headed out of town right after drop off of Linds and K. We hit Target first, boy oh boy do I feel like I got the deal of the century. Needed ink for my photo printer and they had packaged sets of all the inks with 150 sheets of 4x6 photo paper. Ok the deal is my printer takes 6 different inks, the black alone is $18, then the five colors are normally around $9 each, so that's like $60+ dollars right there. The packs I got were $35! OMG I felt like I was stealing and it was hard not to buy every pack off the shelf. So excited! Got a few other things at the Target but nothing else as good.
Next we hit Kohl's, I so needed a wardrobe pick me up. Got a couple new things, but I have decided that I must have some sort of odd body type cuz nothing seems to fit right. I should know better to not even try on things like shorts and pants, they never fit.
After that it was on to the Mall, and after a bottle for Carter and some hair care products. Any one with straight hair do's you must try Aveda's Smoothing Fluid love, love, love it! Then we hit my fav store, Gap! If I was only allowed to shop at one store I would pick the Gap every time, they have bottoms that fit me! Got new jeans, new crop pants, new jean capri's, and tried the new boyfriend pant (LOVE IT!). I was so giddy when I left nothing could go wrong for the rest of the day, oh yeah and nothing did!

Saturday we just hung out for the morning then K and Jeff went to an archery shoot and I got organized to scrap. Booked myself and a friend for Scrapbook Superstore's Crop Mania. That was fabulous, it was a totally last minute thing but TallyScrapper has me so motivated to scrap I just needed to go. Let Katie and Shannon know my plans and was way excited that Katie was able to join in. I so love scrapping with Katie, she is such an insperation, and of course I could just spend the night looking at her photos and be happy! If you want to see what I accomplished you'll just have to check my TS Gallery. We did miss ya Shannon, but Katie updated me on the latest gossip. Next big get together with all the girls and a new scrappin friend (Jen) will be in June, almost to long to wait.

Today we had a wonderful day too! Got up early and went out for breakfast, love that no cleaning for me! Then Jeff and K took off for another shoot. Kaleb is doing so good, one of these days I will join them with camera in tow so I can get some pictures to post and scrap. Me, Linds and Carter tried to get a few things done, laundry mostly. I am actually really excited to crawl into bed tonight. Hung the sheets outside! I am so not a hang things outside gal, way to much work for me. But every now and again when the weather is just perfect I do the sheets. I love the fresh smell. Then we headed to WM for all the things we forgot at Target (didn't have a list Friday). After Jeff and K got home we all went to the land that Jeff hunts on. The guys plant corn for the deer every year and leave it standing all winter. It is time to cut it down so they can plant this years crop. Jeff had one last field to do. While he was cutting I let the kids go loose in the stream that runs along the property. They had a blast as you probably guessed from the pictures above. It was such a perfect day, I only wish it was summer and the kids didn't have school tomorrow. I was just thinking the other day how back in August I couldn't wait to get then out of my hair and back in school. Now I can't wait until the last day so I can have them all day to play with.

Wow this has turned into a mini novel of an entry, thanks for reading

Time to get rid of these icky snow pictures! I think that spring is finally here to stay, today it is fabulous outside. I took baby Carter out to play with my camera, tell me what cha think.

Funny story to share...

Yesterday I get a call from Linds' teacher, seems there was an "incident" durring rest time. Lindsay put a rock up here nose. (Side note - Judy all I could think about was the corn story, LOL!!!) She says that "someone" told her to do it, I can't imagine that she would do this on her own, but the "someone" said they didn't tell her??? Anyway here's the really funny part, Linds with some help from the school nurse did get the rock out. Nurse Kari asks her what we learned from this, and what does my child say... "I learned that you have to blow really hard to get a rock out of your nose!" OMG!!! Oh yeah she had to bring the rock home with her too.

Alright gotta update ya on last weekends fun, I was scheduled to go to a scrapping retreat, but Carter had other plans for me. I did mange to spend 12+ hrs there Saturday, check out Blooming Escapes if you need a fabulous place to get some crafting done. I can't wait to go back and spend a full weekend. Even better I got four 12x12 pages done and a 9x9 for Carter's book. When you write it out it doesn't seem like much, but for me it is amazing!

So Carter is finally on the winning side of all the sickness, my gosh we have been dealing with one thing or another for the last four weeks, maybe he won't get sick again until he's a teenager. Knock on wood. He has even gotten a little better at sleeping the last few nights. It is amazing how good you can feel when you get 6 hrs of uninteruppted sleep.

This morning I was up and ready to go before 6 am! I decided to hit the Garage sales, did a few and then I remembered why I dont do Garage sales, to much work for nothing. Maybe we just don't have quality around here??? Who knows, but that will probably be the last garage sale morning for me. I was really wishing I could head to Madison for the farmer's market, but it's just too far.

Scenes from my back porch this morning...

Gotta love Wisconsin weather! Schools are closed today so it will be an even more wackier than normal Wednesday. They are saying that we may have up to 10 inches of snow! YUCK!!! Of course it the very wet sticky kind and the kids are dying to get out and play, think we'll wait until after lunch then I'll let 'em loose.

Worked at the LSS yesterday, taught a class using felt. That is an interesting medium to work with. We made big tags decorated with felt die cuts. I may try this on a scrap page or I may not. It was a lot of work to get my QK machine to work. Everyone like it, and I had 7 students. Which has been the most I've had in quite some time. New people too, so that's even better.

I'm hoping today that the kids keep each other busy and I can scrap a page or two. Gotta get my page done for the class I'm teaching next week. I'm going to use the new MM Grommet tool and grommets. If you've used it and have pages to show drop me a line or a link I would love to look at some examples. I could search two peas I'm just too lazy.

So we've been on spring break for the last week, although it has not felt at all like spring and well it's been no break either!

I started thinking that I should look up what the temps were for winter break cuz I am sure that they were about the same if not warmer. YUCK!!! No walks, no picnics, no outside nothing. Well ok the kids have braved it a few times, but not me.

Monday and Tuesday I worked at the LSS, that was a ton of fun as it always is, so not work either. I keep telling my boss that I should not get paid for being there, I never get anything accomplished to much gabbing with the customers. Really I have way to much fun there.

Wednesday we just laid low, Jeff was home sick and well that really messes up our schedule, oh but Lindsay had a play date so the day wasn't a total loss.

Thursday we spent the am at the dentist, K, Linds and I got teeth cleaned and I was bullied into finally getting the prep work for a crown I have needed for the last year. Anyone out there know anything about crowns??? My mouth still hurts today! For the pm Carter had a doctor appt, he is doing tons better, but still not 100%. I was told the bug he had/has is one that they vaccinate for and had he not already gotten shots at 2 & 4 months we could have been in real trouble. So it certainly is a nasty one.

Friday we planned a fun day! We started with pictures, six months for baby Carter. And I wanted one with all three monsters. The kids did a fabulous job and I will say it again I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Portrait Innovations! The only thing that will make me stop going there is if Katie opens up her own studio! So the pictures were fun for me, after that we did the Chuckie Cheese thing for the kids. They loved that! Then it was my turn again a trip to Scrapbook Superstore, got a few sheets of paper, I was looking for the BG Color Me Silly with the frogs (got Carter's pic taken with his frog blankie and a few other frog things we have accumulated) of course they don't have it, but there were a couple other sheets I couldn't pass up. Then on to Sam's Club (which is not fun for me or the kids, but had to be done).

Today we needed more fun, but I really needed to get some stuff done around the house. We did fun! We went to Deer Valley and played in the water for half the day. Carter seems to like the water and both K and Linds made some friends for the time we were there. Now everyone is quietly resting. Love that!

Our Easter plans are super simple, brunch with the Johnston family right here in Dodgeville. Then egg hunt at grandpa's, he has 90 eggs to hide this year. Can we say it's getting a little over the top. The kids do have fun and if the sun shows up I may even get a few decent pictures.

Hope everyone else has a wonderful holiday!

New Pictures of Carter, Can you see the teeth in the first one??? He's got two little front teeth!
And the second one is a new thing he has learned to do with his lips, he kinda sucks them in, we just noticed that he was doing this today!

Yikes it's been a month since I've updated this thing!

So my life isn't that complicated, but I just don't seem to have the time to devote to this and to posting over at Tallyscrapper which I havent' done much of lately either. What to do????

Well the baby seems content bouncing up and down at the moment so here's what's been happening in our little world...

We had a scrapping weekend at Shannon's, that was great. I didn't get one thing done, but it was fun to just hang with the girls. We are off to a Scrap Retreat in the Dells next weekend, cannot wait for that. No kids and a full weekend I should get something done.

Got some shopping done a few weeks ago, Carter is just growing way to fast and we were running out of clothes to wear. I went a little overboard I think we are set until winter.

So Jeff was supposed to do this HUGE archery tournament, only so many shooters are accepted and we have been on the wait list for a few years so I was so excited when we got the call about an opening for him. The tournament was in South Carolina and we paid the entry fee booked the airline tickets got the hotel did all we needed to. So on Thursday 3-22 he leaves for Ohare (three hour drive), just before his plane is scheduled for take off I get a call from him. Flight has been cancelled, no flights to SC until Monday! The shoot is Fri, Sat, Sun so this will not work! He spends 12 hours at airport trying to find any flight anywhere near where he needs to be, there is nothing. Finally he decides the best thing to do is head home. Now just to get the baggage, well sorry your baggage is in SC! Oh yeah and they tell him if he leaves he will not get a refund, its not their fault they cancelled the flight. He comes home it is now 1 AM, and he is not happy. We spent friday on the phone with Travelocity, they got us the refund, and with lost baggage, that took over 6 calls throughout the weekend, but we did finally get his archery equipment and suitcase Monday morning. The lesson here is NEVER FLY UNITED!!!

So while all the mess with Jeff is going on, Carter is dealing with a nasty cough. We were in the ER twice and told we had RSV (not a happy thing), so by Monday after I have gotten realitivly no sleep I head to the clinic one more time, Carter is just not getting any better. Doc there things we have been dealing with this to long and thinks 24 hrs in the hospital with oxygen and observation would be the best idea. Great! They didn't let us go home until Wed afternoon. Tests came back and didn't look like it was RSV, but he had some nasty bacteria that did not want to let go. Poor little guy got three shots of antibiotic, way to many nebulizer treatments, and a whole lot of other meds. We made it through and as of lately he is doing so much better, we see the doc tomorrow for another check up and I think all will be well.

Someone's getting fussy, time for bath and bed. I do have some fun shots to post I'll try and get back here after everyone's down for the night. No time to proof this so sorry for any typo's!

Sledding fun! What a wonderful weekend we had, Friday was a snow day and the kids didn't have school, gets wild around here but I didn't have to leave the house the entire day and I love that. I did also get lots of work done on Carter's baby book, I have pictures on almost all of the pre-done LO's from my Cammando friends! It looks so cool, I absolutely love it.
Then on Saturday the kids and I spent the day with Nana, first visiting Grandma Mary (great coffee and treats), then running some errands. Got a new carseat for Carter, he can sit on his own now and is just getting way to heavy for the infant carrier. We bumped into my friend Judy with her little guy, they were getting two year pictures. Its amazing how fast your own kids grow, but some how other peoples kids grow even faster. Really it feels like Austin was born just the other day and now he's two!
Sunday was the really fun day, we got to spend the entire day with daddy! We went out to breakfast, love that no cooking or cleaning for me! Then headed to the archery club where Jeff had to shoot a league score, but then it was K and Linds turn. They both love to shoot and they also love the attention from dad. I think Carter liked watching it all too, as soon as he can walk on his own he'll have a bow in his hands. Next off to a late lunch early dinner at Culver's (I was craving a cheese burger, LOL), again no cooking or cleaning for me, can't get any better! Here's where the pictures come in, we got home bundled up and headed to "killer" hill! So who do you all think had the most fun??? Carter and I stayed out long enough to get some good pics to scrap, then headed back to the van to snuggle where it was warm. We were out until dark, what a great day.

Did a LO for a technique class I am teaching using the HS Masks. Felt good to just do a page, thinking that my mojo is within reach.

It's 4 am and I'm bloggin!

Get this the babe is sound asleep and I'm not! Not sure why, well no I know why I can't sleep but I won't bore you will the trivial stuff of my silly life. Oh wait that's what this blog is all about the silly trivial stuff, imagine that.

But anyway...

Exciting news to share CKU and blogging buddie Christine opened up an online scrapping store! Check her out at Tallyscrapper, I added the link at the right too. I did a little surfing there yesterday and it looks so cool. She has a message board and gallery and these things called tally points and flowers not sure what that's about cuz I didn't get much time to play, but knowing Christine it will be awesome.

Gotta get myself motivated to get organized for the days Scrapmania, I can't wait to see the gals and well I haven't been all that jazzed about scrappin. I have tons of stuff I want and need to do just no mojo. I think it will make me happy just to sit and watch others scrap and chat. But I really should bring a couple things to work on right??? And yes Julie I will be bringing the QK Revolution with my new Blossom font! I may even let you play with it!

So what else can I gab about, well K's conference went well. We got to meet his reading teacher and she's ok. He seems to be making progress and they are going to do some more screening just to rule out learning disabilities and stuff like that. He is far enough behind in reading that he will now do reading group twice a day. My only problem with this is him getting behind with the other classroom stuff. They have a rule that if they don't get their classroom assignments done they don't got out for recess. Now for the child that is messing around and just causing problems I don't have a problem with the policy. Makes kids realize they need to do their work in a timely manor just like the real world, but for K is it fair that he misses recess almost daily because he is out of the class for a full hour everyday??? The good thing is he doesn't seem to mind. I have never once heard him complain about missing recess, in fact if his teacher hadn't told me about the policy I would have never know that he misses so many. Both teachers said he is a delightful little guy, very kind and very well behaved. So at least I'm doing something right.

I think I will head into the scrap land now and pick out some things for tonight.

Tuesday, February 20, 2007

Freakin out today, we have teacher conferences tonight and well Kaleb is struggling and I am not really fond of the way that our school teaches things or of some of the rules they have. I do however love his teacher so that is why this is so hard. I keep second guessing myself. See K did Kindergarten twice and now I am thinking that I should have had him do two years of first grade instead. They just learn or need to learn so much more for first grade. Why is that??? I was reading the paper the other day and there was an article with questions and answers for four people running for mayor. Of course schools are always a big issue, well question was how do we find more funding or something along those lines. The last answer from a, in my opinion, freaky candidate really struck me as interesting. He stated something about why are we spending so much $$ for computer edu on elementary students when we should be teaching them the basics so they have mastered that first. Yes I do think knowing computers is important, but does it really help my 5 yr old to know more than me??? What has happened to the basics??? Some of the homework K brings home I don't even understand and well I should be able to understand first grade homework. Ok I am ranting and well I just wish sometimes I had the patience to homeschool.

Linds on the other hand is the easy one, she is already doing everything that K is and understanding it all too. She I think will florish in the public school environment, that is if she doesn't end up to much of a socialite. this all makes me wonder what Carter will be like???

I think I will just enjoy Carter the way he is and try and keep him the baby for as long as I can. No need to push him to grow. Although all of this ranting could be coming from the fact that I haven't gotten a good nights sleep in three weeks. Carter had shots at the begining of the month and since then we are up 5 to 10 times a night. Not sure what to do we have tried it all or I have that is. Just hoping that he out grows what ever is going on and soon.

I am way looking forward to scrappin this weekend, doing the Archivers scrapmania Friday night with Shannon, Katie and Julie. Haven't done one of these before so not sure what to expect but with the girls I know we will have a great time no matter what. Then Katie, Julie and I are spending the night at the Hilton next door. Does anyone know if they have a hot tub??? I really should check out the web site.

Then, one month old.

Now, four months old!

Look at Carter now! Wow has he grown, it goes by way to fast. Last night he was starting to sit up all on his own, before I know it he will be crawling and then I will be crying as I take him in for his first day of Kindergarten.

Speaking of Kindergarten, Linds celebrated the 100th day a couple weeks ago, that means that half the year is done. I so can't beleive it, summer will be here so quickly. That is one thing I am looking forward to. This horrible cold weather has got to go, although I am quick to say thank heavens that we did not get the snow that the states south and east of us have had. Those poor souls out in NY, I can't even begin to imagine what I would do if the snow was as high as our house. The kids however think that is the coolest thing they have ever seen.

So did everyone out there have a nice Valentine's? It was a good one at our house, the day seemed much quieter than Tuesday. Tuesday was of course, being the deadline queen that I am, when I finally got going on the kids Valentines for their classmates. 40 handmade valentines in a day is that a record??? We also had to bake and decorate cookies for each class, I was bummed I didn't get to my favorite baked goods store in time and they did not have any heart shaped cutout cookies left. I settled for round ones. They turned out alright, we frosted and sprinkled and then I drew hearts with red frosting on top. We got rave reviews from K's teacher, so they must have been ok. Then after the cookies were done and the kids were in bed I realized we were also down for cheese and crackers for Linds' room. Off to the grocery store I went and got that done too.

Yep valentine's was nice at our house, Jeff brought flowers, he always does and I always love them. Then get this we actually sat down at the table and ate dinner together! Completely crazy I know!

Happy February!

We are living quite the un-eventful life lately and hey my pictures haven't turned into red "x"'s so I don't really have anything to complain about.

I have to laugh at myself because we waited for so long for real winter weather to show it's face and now we are suffering through only a few weeks of nasty-ness and I can't wait for summer's heat. How many others out there feeling like that. The kids had fun with the whole groundhog thing and I am guessing that in our neck of the woods where six more weeks of winter was predicted that will most definately come true. At least with these sub zero temps it feels like winter won't let go anytime soon. Enough about the weather!

Baby Carter was baptised this past Sunday, all went wonderfully. No screaming or crying from any child in the Johnston group was heard. I hadn't been to church in so long it felt weird and good to be there. I need to re-evaluate my thoughts about the whole church thing. See dh doesn't mind it, but really does not have the time to come with on Sundays. Me I have the time and really should be going with kids but I want to do this as a family and not prolong the tradition of it's the mom's job to take the kids to church and dad can just do whatever he wants. What sort of example does that set with the kids???

Alright so I am sitting here trying to think of other interesting things to type up and well there isn't anything else. It's wacky wednesday and I need to put a load of laundry in and find something to eat for lunch. But I think I will pop my head in at two peas and see if there are any interesting threads today.
