So I'm not in labor, but I've got the scrappin mojo going today. Got up at 2 am and haven't really stopped until now. The kids are getting hungry and well it was time to clean up the crafting mess. Just thought I would post my work I feel pretty good about what I accomplished. Even have a few more photos that I would love to get to tomorrow. Who knows maybe I'll just pull it all back out again after dishes and bathes???

A light at the end of the tunnel...

So at the doctor yesterday I must have done a good job expressing how I am really ready to NOT be pg anymore. We are scheduled to induce Tuesday morning! We really wanted Monday, but someone was already scheduled. I am so relived that I actually feel 100 times better today. It's like the pressure is off and I can finally relax a little. So if all goes well I am hoping to be back at home with my new little bundle of joy and lots of pictures Wednesday night. So exciting!

Ok so on the Grey's topic, OMG the show was wonderful! I think my favorite scene was the last with dreamy, addison and steamy! Could that have been any better??? And well as much as I want Meredith to be with dreamy, the vet is starting to grow on me. And way to go Mer dating what a story line! Guess that's why I am a watcher and not a writer, I would have never thought of that one.

Well I am trying to get some last minute projects finished up and I am working on posting some class photos on the LSS blog so better run! Have a super day everyone!

Anyone else excited for Grey's tonight?

And does anyone have a DVR, just incase I need to miss it? Ok so really I doubt I will miss it, the general consensus around here is that baby Carter will be here this weekend, we'll see. Can you tell I am skeptical. I do see the doctor tonight and well I am ready to tell him that I have had it with this waiting and let's get some drugs going here.

Busy day running again, had to do an errand for DH this am, then needed stuff from WM, went to the bank and stopped at the LSS. Christine got me wanting to do the kids first day of school photos and well I just didn't have the right paper. I do now and I also have some cool stamps too. I never seem to bump into my CTMH friend Tara when she drops off my orders lately, but it sure is nice to come home to a bag full of goodies. They have this new "stickstock" stuff, it's adhesive backed twill, linen and vellum. I got the twill sheets this time and I am dying to test them out, may have to fit them in on the school pages. You are suppose to be able to run them through your printer so that should be neat.

bored today...

So I am just doing laundry and sorta wondering what else I should be doing. Don't really feel like doing anything. It's starting to rain here and well I guess that fits the mood just fine. Would love to jump into something scrap worthy, but I have a Pre-school board meeting at noon and it's early release day and Linds has dance after that. So it's not that I don't have things to do, just a little down time at the moment and well I just don't know what to do. Rough life I have isn't it???

Yesterday was pretty dull too, Jeff stayed home from work, he needed to catch up on some shop stuff. I told him that would be the sure fire way to NOT send me into labor and well it worked, no baby. But he did manage to get the shop straightened up a little. It was getting so crazy down there. Now if only we could find some time to clean the garage and re-organize a little in the house.

No baby yet, but Jeff had a good weekend...

DH got this beautiful buck Saturday morning, he was very happy! And just in case any of you are in the know about "big" bucks, Jeff rough scored this one at 150+ (yep that's good). Funny story to go along with the pictures. I was not around when he got this one and neither was the new camera. We had a girls day Saturday with Nana, went into Madison and did some shopping, got some baby stuff and had lunch with Katie and Gabby. So since I knew I was going to see Katie and she was such a huge influence on getting a new camera I had to bring it to show her. Well Dh calls about 11:30, "I got the big buck!", I say "great, congrats honey!", he says "where's the camera?", OPPS! Ok so he was a little, shall we say upset, but he used his dad's point and shoot and I think the shots turned out just fine.

So I posted those projects last night...

with good intentions to come back and add some info about them and well just didn't get around to it. Thanks for all the nice comments!

Ok so a little about the projects, the halloween one I did yesterday at the LSS. We have a quickutz club and the members get a free die and make/take project each month. This is the make/take for September.

The page is for my technique class next month, total lift from a magazine, but still cool. The button stamps are the Gel-A-Tins love, love, love them! And the "Oreo" title is the new tangerine QK font, loving that also.

Today I am working on the page I took with me yesterday (nope didn't get around to doing any journaling in my Week album either), it's coming together quite nicely. And I am trying to keep myself busy so I can ignore the fact that I have not had a baby yet. Can anyone tell that I am getting a little crabby at this point??? We even went for an hour walk earlier trying just about anything to get baby going, but it's not happening. Doctor appt tonight, we'll see what he has to say.

busy day ahead,

I am sorting though some things and heading down to the LSS to work for a few hours today. YIPEE! I love working at the store! Not sure if the boss with have things she wants me to do while I am there so I am bringing my Week in the Life album with hopes to work on some journaling. Plus I have the pictures I took of Linds playing in the sand a few weekends back and I really want to scrap them. But who knows I may not get anything done, it's coupon day so I might see a few friends that I haven't chatted with in a while. Back to organizing for me...

So here are the pages that Mandy did for me, aren't they beautiful!

I really hope she likes the pages I did! I totally enjoyed doing the photo swap and I think that somebody may have to organize another one.

So another day goes by...

We had a good weekend, my SIL had her wedding shower and I got lots of compliments on the wedding invites, makes me feel good. I also had fun taking pictures, there was a little one there (18 mons, I think) and she had the cutest round eyes, I loved taking her picture.

Haven't gotten any more pages done today, although I have been thinking of one since Sunday morning. I just feel to sick to do much of anything. Yes lucky me Saturday I started feeling a tingle in my ear and now I have a full blown sore throat with a nasty cough. I guess it's what's going around, why me??? At least no one else in the house is sick. Knock on wood they stay healthy.

Just hanging in there

10 days and counting and I am desperately trying to keep my mind off the fact that I am still PG. Each day is a little more enoying, but it will happen soon enough.

So I have been staying busy, and I have been doing some scrapping. Christine hooked me up with Mandy for the photo swap and I think the two of us have just had so many things going on that we sort of put it on the back burner. Well I am happy to say that we did finally get photos swapped and I received an absoulutely amazing package in the mail today. I sent her some of my wedding photos, I need to get inspired to work on these. I have been collecting papers and what not for the last, let's see 3+ yrs! Well the work Mandy did with my pictures, man I would love to send her them all! The four LO's are so beautiful I almost wanted to cry when I saw them. Thanks Mandy for the wonderful job! I also had a great time with the photos she sent me, I hope you like them half as much as I like mine.

The LO below is something I whipped up tonight, I just have the scrappin bug. Must be the excitment from MOA still fresh with me. We had our scrap group last night and I got Mandy's pages done there, plus my technique class page for October started and just a total flow of mojo. Had to keep it going today. I was so excited for my tech page that I forgot to take a picture of it before dropping it off at the LSS. I will have to stop down there Monday and post that. It is a lift from one of the Mags we got at MOA, but of course I do my own little twist and I love how it turned out. Back to the LO below, I am really into the MME Signature Line that we have at the LSS, that's what I used and even though it's pretty simple I'm happy.

Got a LO done! Broke into the "Cowboy" Crate paper pack. That is pretty much all ya see. I did add a little ribbon and some star eyelets but that's it. Loving the crate paper. Now on to the "Carnival" pack... Posted by Picasa

I've read and commented...

So I guess that means I should update my blog. Julie you inspired me to add a little more about our adventures at scrapfest. The first pic above is some of what I did in classes, the after dark party, and a make/take. I am so sure that I had just as much stuff as Julie I just think I pack it away a whole lot quicker. My favorites are the recipe album, can you see how stuffed it is? All those recipes are from Christine's swap (ok a few more that I had from a swap last year too, but mostly christine's). That was the primary reason for taking the class. I love the album, it's american crafts D-ring. I still need to add a little more to the section pages, but it is functional at the moment. Next favortite thing is the little desk calendar with the flower, loved that and it was so easy, I am doing it for a class at the LSS. I already want to make more for some good friends. The box on the left side is from the after dark party. We were given the plain boxes and then check out the next pic, all this stuff was at the tables. We had to decorate the boxes and then turn them in to be judged. Mine turned out ok, I don't do well with being creative in a time limit. I didn't win any prizes, and I didn't get a real good look at the winners, but there sure were some amazing creations. The little snowman card (isn't he cute), was a make/take, of course I dressed it up a little when I got home. I also took a Tim class, cute little ruler book (picture from Mondays post), and did a MM class using 4x4x4 blocks. I didn't like how they ran the class and chose not to complete my project they way the instructions were so I just have plain painted blocks that are waiting some more attention. Maybe this weekend...

Today is wacky wednesday, the kids get out early from school on wednesdays and we are starting back into dance class tonight for Linds. I really need to be working on laundry and bills, but this is so much more fun. I did a LO yesterday, loved it, used the new MME Signature line, we got it all in the LSS and I had the perfect picture. I wanted to post it here, but was in such a hurry that I forgot to snap it before putting it up at the LSS. I need to run down there and get a shot. I want to get some scrappin done today, I picked up three packets of Crate paper this weekend and I really want to cut into it. I've got some fun shots to work with, maybe later.

Just looked out the window and we have SUNSHINE!!! It has been raining around here for three days and i was starting to get cranky. Posted by Picasa

ScrapFest Fun!

We made it to and back home again from Archiver's ScrapFest 2006! And if I must say so, it was fabulous! Not quite as amazing as CKU, but tons and tons of fun. And many of you may have read here before that I am a shopping freak, so just to be at Mall of America is to great for words for me. LOL!!!

Ok so a liitle about our weekend, it started out a little shakey. When we were checking in on Friday am, they could not find me anywhere, so for a bit I thought I might have to take a trip across the street and spend all my $$ at Ikea (like that wouldn't have been fun). But in the end they found me and all was well. I'm not a huge fan of make n takes so I only did a few. The first couple pictures here are of my friend Chis and the line we stood in to do a make n take. Yes this weekend was a lot about standing in lines. Most lines were not fast, I think some lines were close to an hour (no kidding) wait. One more reason that I am not big on m/t's. But lots of chatting and friend making went on in those lines. I just wonder what the poor fokes who were just unsuspecting tourists thought of us in our lines. I really should have picked someones brains. I did hear some really silly comments from employees about why we were all here.

Classes were very cool, I enjoyed all that I signed up for. I should get some pictures and post those. Maybe later today. I am very excited about all the pictures that I did take. I now have some stuff that I can use for friend pages. It's kinda cool to take shoots of people other than your kids. All though I am not sure if Chris and Julie would agree with me on this point. I did hear a lot of "would you stop taking my picture!" But see I let them use the camera and catch a couple shots of me too.

Back to School!

I was really waiting so impatiently for the day to come and now that I am home all alone with both of my kids in school I just don't know what to do. I miss Lind terribly. Doesn't help that I wasn't all that impressed with her teacher. She has the first year, just out of college way to young to be a teacher, teacher. We have heard very wonderful things about this young woman and I am sure that it will all work out just fine, but.... Oh it is probably just me and my PG hormones. I'll get over that soon enough. That should eliminate the problem of what do I do now too!

Ok so on to more fun stuff, I feel like I have left my blog alone to long. Boy have we been busy. The first thing on the agenda for last week was SIL's wedding invites I literly worked on those from Wednesday afternoon until Saturday morning when I victoriously finished number 180 at 9:30 am! Boy was I happy! So at least that project is done.
Then it was our county fair last week end, took the kids and the camera. Tested out shooting in RAW, not really sure how that works, looks the same to me. I just know that it takes a little longer to download those photos on the pc. Now to read the chapter on RAW in my PhotoShop book. I did get some fun shots and well if I didn't have so many other things that I wanted to scrap first I would be working on those.
Sunday Linds and I spent the day with Nana and a couple of relatives visiting from South Dakota. Got some really great shots of Linds in the sandbox. Monday we just kinda vegg'ed, can you believe that I didn't even take any pictures.
Yesterday was just busy, Kaleb had a full day of school, isn't he just the cutest first grader, so grown up in the big guy desk. Linds just had a 15 min meeting with her teacher to drop off all the supplies and find her space. She really was dissappointed that she didn't get to stay all day so we went back for lunch with K. Then spent some time at the LSS. They have the new MME Signature Suite paper and well I just had a picture that I knew had to be scrapped with that paper. Found the right paper and accessories, killed some time chatting then we headed off to the hospital to pre-register for this baby. Came home with bags of "stuff", mostly junk, but there were a few coupons that I can use. I was thanking God that the formula companies have gone to making their hospital give away diaper bags all black. I may actually be able to use these ones. With K and Linds they were some awful pink and pale green pattern. Like I would leave the house with that! I know I am so stuck up!
Today I, all by myself, no kids in tow, went back to the hospital for one last ultrasound. Baby is head down, probably about 7 lbs and ready to go! I told him today that anytime next week would be wonderful, we are very anxcious to meet him. I went late with both K and linds so I really doubt that next week will materialize, just thought I would let him know.
After pick-up today we have to register Linds for dance, then back to the hospital for a special sibling class, then off to a pre-school board meeting. Yikes I am so glad that I am getting out of town tomorrow!
Yes it's finally Mall of America ScrapFest! I am so excited and really waiting to get some time to myself and just have fun for the last time before baby. Plus I think I may get a little start on my christmas shopping! I love Mall of America, great stores that I don't get to vist enough. Posted by Picasa
