Update time!

Ok so we made it through Christmas, almost, just one more party to attend and that is with Nana so pretty painless there.

But I figured it was time to post a couple things and update anyone who cares with the taudry details of my so exciting life! LOL!!!

I did not get on the Quickutz Design Team, way bummer, but I really didn't think that I would be picked from the get go. But I just have to remind myself that it is the trying that counts. You can't win anything if you never play!

On the exciting front it looks like Jeff and I will be venturing back to Vegas in February! Way Cool! I love Vegas! Jeff will be shooting in the World Archery Festival and I will be RELAXING!

So that is about it, yeah I know pretty dull, but that is ok!

TIC, TOC, TIC, TOC, TIC, TOC...

I am trying to wait patiently to find out if I made the Quickutz Design team, but I am starting to lose it! The other day it was posted on Two Peas that calls would go out today, I keep checking two peas to see if there is anymore info and there's nothing! And to make it worse my phone is not ringing either! YIKES!!! I know that I really have no chance at this, but I am trying to be positive also. I am just going crazy! I have a million things that I should be doing, but I can't seem to do anything! I did get my Make N Take our Memories party done. But otherwise the house is a mess the kids are wild and I am a TOTAL MESS!!! Please God just let the calls happen and have someone post that they are done so I can relax and get on with my life!

I GOT IN!!!

Some of you who know me have heard me constantly talking about CKU, well registration started tonight and I am going! I am so excited! I am taking some amazing classes with some amazing instructors and will be bringing back lots of things to share in my upcoming classes at Memories! YIPPEE!

CKU is not until the very end of March, so I am sure you will hear alot more about it all over the next couple months. I just needed to give a little shout out right away!

Well it's been a few days since I have updated this and the kids are quiet so now looks like a good time!

I got the opportunity to read stories to Kaleb's kindergarten class last week, what a delight! I read the book "Who's a Pest?" one of my all time fav's from when I was little. It was one that was new to all of the class including K's teacher. They laughed and really enjoyed it. Lindsay got to come too, and she was sad when we had to come home. She is growing up way to fast!

To any of you on Two Peas, I have joined the KISS (Keep it simple sister) Club. We have weekly challanges for layouts, complete them and post them on two peas, then praise them. This was the first week and wow there are some amazingly talented people out there. I am adding the KISS website to my links, check it out and join in on the fun. It is a great way to keep motivated and just get some pages done.

Here's one for all of you local readers - GET A LAYOUT OR CARD Created for Memories Contest! I know you all have amazing talents too! I want to see them! Plus there are unbelivable prizes.

Ok so my life is rather boring, but that is all there is for now. Tomorrow I will check back on that to do list from last week, I think most of it will go back on this weeks list. LOL!!!

Memories Anniversary Sale Make n Take (Dec 17 & 18)

Ok, thought I would check back and see what I have accomplished so far on my list...

Not much! I spent today working on a internet card swap. My card turned out alright, I will have to post a picture.

I did actually come up with a super idea for the anniversary make n take (with dorothy's guidance of course), if you are near by next weekend (Dec 16, 17, 18) you will have to stop, you so don't want to miss the sale or the m/t! LOL!!!

Ok so I guess I can cross that off the list, oh and my christmas cards went in the mail today! Yipee what a relief that is. Now I just have to finish christmas shopping and then wrapping. Gotta love the holidays, can you hear the sarcasim (s/p) in my type! Blah, blah, blah and that gotta run dishes to do, laundry to fold (nope thats not done either).

- Design make n take for Memories Aniversary sale (this is gonna be a good one!)
- Design two more display layouts and post them on two peas
- Start design work on classes I am teaching in January (I will post pics and more info)

That's the most important stuff for this week. Better run if I am going to get any of it done!

Christmas Card Photo for 2005 

Ok I am trying to get a profile picture of me and well I haven't figured it out yet. But I did get a pic with my kids and I from last year posted so I am working on it.

Well I have joined the bloggers! This is kinda fun, and of course I really have lots of other stuff I should be doing but...

Ok so lets start off with a little about me. I am a very passionate scrapper and stamper and as any of my friends will tell you I am also a bit of a freak when it comes to new tools and toys to craft with. I really just like to share my excitement with everyone that I meet, is that so wrong???

Well I have been scrapping for about four years now, and the story of why I scrap is actually kinda funny. My husband actually got me going (although I know he most definitely regrets it now), he is an avid sportsman and really wanted a scrap album with his photos. So I did what so many of us scrapers have done I went to my first CM party. Well I had a great time and I was hooked. I quickly moved out of the CM box and my love for paper crafts grows daily. Oh, and I have one page down in my dear hubbys book! LOL!!!

I was introduced to stamping by a friend hosting an SU party and well I am a sucker, and I was hooked on that too! I really love inking things up!

On the personal side, if you care, I am married to a wonderful man (7 years now), and we have two beautiful children, Kaleb (6 yrs) and Lindsay (4 yrs). I am a SAHM, sort of, I do a little bit of daycare, do some accounting for my DH's business, and of course teach and hang out at Memories Scrap N Stamp as much as I can. I also like to lurk on twopeasinabuckect.com (njohnston), but I am trying to post more and when I got on the computer tonight I was actually setting out to put a layout in their gallery. This is the first time to post a layout and well I am scared, have you seen their gallery, these people are some of the best! But I want to get out there so I just have to do it! So all for now I am going to post my layout, see you later!

Oh and when I get my act together I will post the detail and pics of upcoming classes I will be teaching at Memories, too!
